Regular Program:

Part-Time ECG Technician Instructor

One Part-Time ECG Technician Instructor to instruct an ECG Technician night or week-end class.  Class is a total of 180 hours that includes clinical hours.  Instructor is responsible for delivery of curriculum, records maintenance, arranging clinical experience and for scheduling the certification exam.  Position does not include any benefits of retirement, personal leave, medical, life, optical or dental insurance, seniority rights, reemployment rights, or any other related benefits.

           

Applicant must hold a currently valid license as a registered nurse, and must be eligible to receive an adult license for part-time employment as set forth in WVDE Policy 5202.  Applicant must have ASPT certification, must have a current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification, have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical setting performing ECG’s and related lab work, submit three letters of reference attesting to experience in the laboratory environment, have a current resume, and be able to submit a detailed course outline of how you would teach the program.  Contract service is $2500.00 for a minimum enrollment of 10.  The employment term varies as needed in the 2014-2015 school year.

 

Part-Time CNA Instructor

One Part-Time CNA Instructor to instruct a CNA night or week-end class.  Class is a total of 180 hours that includes clinical hours.  Instructor is responsible for delivery of curriculum, records maintenance, arranging clinical experience and for scheduling the certification exam. Position does not include any benefits of retirement, personal leave, medical, life, optical or dental insurance, seniority rights, reemployment rights, or any other related benefits.

 

Applicant must hold a currently valid license as a registered nurse, and must be eligible to receive an adult license for part-time employment as set forth in WVDE Policy 5202.  Must have wage earning experience of three years (6,000 clock hours) of professional wage earning experience as a registered professional nurse.  A minimum of one year must involve “patient-side” nursing care in a long term, intermediate or acute care clinical facility such as a nursing home or hospital.  A maximum of two years of teaching, supervisory or administrative experience in nursing may count toward the three years.  The most recent experience must have been within the past three years and beyond the training period as a nurse.  Also, must have a current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification, must have a current resume and be able to submit a detailed course outline of how you would teach the program.  Contract service is $3,000.00 for a minimum enrollment of 10.  Employment term varies as needed in the 2014-2015 school year.

 

Part-Time Phlebotomy Technician Instructor

Instruct a Phlebotomy Technician night or week-end class.  Class is a total of 180 hours that includes clinical 120 hours.  Instructor is responsible for delivery of curriculum, records maintenance, arranging clinical experience and for scheduling the certification exam.  Position does not include any benefits of retirement, personal leave, medical, life, optical or dental insurance, seniority rights, reemployment rights, or any other related benefits.

 

Applicant must hold a currently valid license as a registered nurse, and must be eligible to receive an adult license for part-time employment as set forth in WVDE Policy 5202.  Applicant must have ASPT Certification, must have a current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification, have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a medical setting performing phlebotomy and related lab work and be experienced drawing blood, submit three letters of reference attesting to experience in the laboratory environment, have a current resume, and be able to submit a detailed course outline of how you would teach the program.  Contract service is $2,500.00 for a minimum enrollment of 10.  Employment term varies as needed in the 2014-2015 school year.

Part-Time Business Instructors

Instruct Microsoft Specialist program courses which will be taught on night or week-end classes.  Class is a total of 135 hours each.  Instructor is responsible for delivery of curriculum, records maintenance, and for scheduling the certification exam. Position does not include any benefits of retirement, personal leave, medical, life, optical or dental insurance, seniority rights, reemployment rights, or any other related benefits.

 

Applicant must hold a current WV business teaching certification and must be eligible to receive an adult license for part-time employment as set forth in WVDE Policy 5202.  Applicant must submit a current resume and a detailed course outline of how you would teach the program.  Contract service is $2,000 for a minimum enrollment of 10 for each course.  Employment term varies as needed in the 2014-2015 school year.

 

            Applicants shall be required to submit a letter of application and resume to the Personnel Office by 4:00 p.m., June 30, 2014.  The Board reserves the right to reject any application received after this date.  Fax
