Mingo County Schools is currently offering two online courses for professional development.

Formative Assessment -  This course looks in depth at the types of  formative assessment practices that have shown to have a major impact on student achievement.


Multicultural Education - This course examines the role and importance of a need to prepare students for their responsibilities in an interdependent world and a global society.

Assessment for Differentiated Instruction - The purpose of this course is to look at the role of building strong assessment strategies for DI.  It consists of three modules:  Introduction to DI Assessment, The Rubric, and Three Story Intellect.
